The 30-Man Royal Rumble topped off a major night in Houston, Texas at Minute Maid Park. Before the match began, Booker T was acquainted with be the visitor analyst. Michael Cole declared that Lashley and Rusev got into a gigantic fight so they would not be in the match.

Brock Lesnar was the first to enter the match, trailed by Elias. Elias took as much time as necessary as he had a melody to play before he made it to the ring. Lesnar followed Elias and immediately killed him in the wake of taking him to suplex city and crushing a guitar over his back.

McIntyre won the match by eliminating Roman Reigns.
